Ryan Coogler Makes a Spin-Off Black Panther TV Show to Launch on Disney Plus
Ryan Coogler, the director of Black Panther 2018, one of the most admired Marvel movies, is creating a standalone TV show for the Black Panther character, and he is planning to launch it on Disney Plus. The Black Panther movie was a collaborative project between Marvel Studios and Ryan Coogler. That movie made more than 1.3 billion USD in the worldwide box office, an absolute victory.
According to an official report, Walt Disney has recently signed an agreement with Ryan Coogler to create an exclusive Black Panther TV series to launch on the Disney Plus streaming service. In short, Ryan Coogler will alone direct a new television series for Black Panther, and this time Marvel Studios has nothing to do with it. Walt Disney and the director of black panther will create this upcoming TV series.
Since Marvel Studios is not going to help Ryan Coogler in the production work, we may see little different effects and experiences in the upcoming science-fictional TV show. Marvel Studios has created TV series on many of its superheroes, like Winter Soldier, Falcon, Scarlet witch, Vision, Agents of Shield, etc. However, they have not created any show about the Black Panther character, one of the most beloved Marvel Cinematic Universe superheroes.
Therefore, Disney Plus and Ryan Coogler collaborated to create a standalone black panther serial for its fans. This will help them develop the character even more since currently we have only a single black panther movie.
The upcoming show will take place in the kingdom of Wakanda, the highly advanced hometown of the black panther. We have already seen how awesome Wakanda is in terms of evolving and technology. It is also one of the most powerful nations around the world in the comics. This agreement has been done for the next five years, and Proximity Media, a media production company of Ryan Coogler, will take the lead in the production of this series. This means we may be able to see various episodes of the black panther in the next five years. Wouldn’t it be a treat for the black panther and marvel fans? Absolutely yes.
Ryan Coogler will introduce a totally outstanding and innovative story about the superhero. He is decided to bring the comical black panther superhero into real life. He has previously done a fantastic job in the 2018 movie. We enjoyed every single moment of that movie, and it won a few awards as well.
So, Coogler is one of the most skilled and experienced movie directors in the world. Therefore, you can expect a lot from the upcoming TV show about our vibranium shielded hero. We love everything about the black panther superhero in the recent Marvel movies, from his acting to action scenes, and character development to stunning technology.
“We are delighted to inform all that we will release a new TV show with Dana Walden, Bob Iger, and other participants, Ryan recently said in support of Proximity Media.” So as you can see, the production team is very happy with their new project, and they are expecting the fans to love their new show.
Similarly, Kevin Feige has also stated that Marvel Studios will continue to produce the Black Panther 2 movie in the future, even though Chadwick Boseman, the actor who played the role of black panther, is rest in peace.
We may see a new black panther actor in the new TV series and Black Panther 2. It might also be possible only to see side characters in the TV series like Shuri, Okoye, Nakia, M Baku, and all.
Many black panther fans are not happy to see that they won’t be able to see the iconic black panther character in the upcoming shows and movies.
